Why is it that music is such an issue in the church? I can’t tell you how many churches I’ve attended and seen that people had issues with the music. It’s not my style, it’s too fast, it’s too slow, we’re holding a hymnals, we have to look on a big screen, they play electric guitars, they play pipe organs.
My question is, WHY? I have a particular style that is my default style, but I enjoy a lot of music. Jazz, big band, techno, trance, a little country, etc….. I have a wide range of musical influence.
Why is it only in the church that we have these conflicts? I believe in the church! But I’m so sick of people not getting along because of their own interest. It’s about Jesus people, not us. We sing to give Jesus glory.
